Fuzzy Heart DIY Art for Valentine's Day

Fuzzy Heart Art is a fun and funky Valentine's craft which you can make easily with only a few supplies. Ashley from "Writing Chapter Three" created this fun art piece with hot glue, pom poms and a basswood round. Create your own colour pallet with a variety of pom poms and even a bit of glitter. We'd suggest using a 2" Nailless Hanger (lightly hammer into the back of the plaque before decorating for the easiest attachment) for easy hanging. Cute!

DIY Valentine's Day Photo Frames

Have fun creating keepsake Valentines that are sure to warm the hearts of your friends & family! These ornaments were made using only a few colours of paint and two laser cut wooden shapes. Once Valentine's Day has finished they can be tucked away for December when they can hang on a Christmas tree. Standard school photos (2 1/2" x 1 3/4") fit the centre perfectly but other photos would work well too.

Simple shading and embellishing were created using Americana Royal Fuchsia, Peony Pink and Poodleskirt Pink. Glamour Dust in Celebration Pink was applied to the entire surface of the 4" Circle of Hearts Ornament. Once the paint and varnish have dried, cut your photo to size (approximately 1 3/4" round) and attach to the centre of the ornament. Run a light bead of glue around the 2" Wooden Ring and lay over the photo. Multiple ornaments can be strung together (great for showing off grandchildren!) using jump rings or wire. Hang from a simple piece of ribbon or string and display proudly in your home.
