Featured DIY Kid's Project:
Build Your Own Toddler Stilts

Don't these toddler stilts look fun? Full instructions can be found at the blog, Made by Joel. This project was inspired by the tin can stilts he had as a child. Joel felt the tall coffee cans were too high and used 2 x 4s  instead. Made by Joel is a neat site which "shares art, craft and handmade education projects for children and their care givers".

Use Stockade's Brad Point Bits to drill the holes in the wood.

Embellish a Mirror or Picture Frame with Gold Leaf

Easily achieve impressive looks with Mona Lisa Gold Leafing products. Barb from Design Sponge embellished the frame of a Paint-By-Number painting she bought at a thrift store. Barb says "leafing can be adapted to any project with great results. It's about how little or how much you use and where you place it on your piece." Find her step-by-step tutorial here.
Barb used silver leaf but this project would look just as lovely using gold. View the Mona Lisa Leafing products Stockade carries.
